Speech-Language Pathologist - Pediatric (Day Care)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess and diagnose a variety of communication disorders.
- Create and implement personalized, patient-centric treatment plans.
- Engage in regular one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing the latest evidence-based practices.
- Closely monitor patient progress and make adjustments to the treatment plan as necessary.
- Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers about strategies for managing and improving communication and swallowing.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain meticulous records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Possession of a current SLP certificate is mandatory upon employment start date.
- Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
- CPR certification required.
- Valid TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver's License are essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and their families.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, especially within educational or day care settings.
- Advanced knowledge of techniques aimed at managing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Experience with electronic health records and documentation software.
