Work Schedule:
100% FTE. This will be a full-time position working primarily 8:00am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday with occasional hours earlier or later than the standard schedule.
Description:
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to:
- Work closely with our surgeons to provide remarkable care for new and returning patients in the Foot and Ankle Clinic.
- Help manage patients post-operatively, including performing post-op wound care.
- First and second assist in the Operating Room.
- Be responsible for performing inpatient rounds.
Education:
Minimum –
If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s from an accredited PA program.
Licenses and Certifications:
If Nurse Practitioner:
- Active RN and APNP license in the State of Wisconsin AND
- Active board certification as a NP in the area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care or Family.
If Physician Assistant:
- Active PA license in the State of Wisconsin AND
- Active PA board certification.
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have:
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
