The MRI Technologist performs quality images per physician's orders while providing excellent care to patients.
This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) position working weekdays between the hours of 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, primarily out of our Blaine location, but also supporting Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, and Plymouth. This role will involve one weekend day every other weekend between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
A $3,500 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Essential Functions:
- Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians' use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury.
- Inform and prepare patients for procedures.
- Maintain patient files, including internal and external films.
- Prepare, clean, and stock work area with supplies.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair.
- Maintain the necessary precautions for exposure to the static magnetic field and non-ionizing radiation/radiofrequencies.
- Communicate implant safety concerns and expectations to care teams and patients to ensure patient is able to tolerate MRI exam comfortably.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of an ARRT approved program.
- ARRT Certified in Magnetic Resonance or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an MRI department required.
