Leadership Development Trainer - Behavioral Health 901

Full Time: DAYS 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday
Expected starting wage range is $81,565.12 - $91,163.80. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY
The incumbent will report to the Director of Learning and Leadership Development and be primarily responsible for planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and conducting instructor-led trainings for Telecare leaders and other staff as requested by programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' experience supervising and managing performance of others, or master's degree and two (2) years' experience supervising and managing performance of others.
- Two (2) years' experience in facilitating soft skills training in person and remotely.
- Proven ability to build teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and influence leadership, staff, and HR partners.
- Proven ability to design and present engaging and impactful programs with documented improvement in individual, team, and company performance.
- Proven ability to be self-directed and take initiative while working autonomously from a remote location.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. Position requires driving, a valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.
Preferred:
- Experience with learning management systems.
- Experience facilitating training using ZOOM and TEAMS Platforms.
- Certifications in DiSC Behavior Profiling, ADKAR Change Management, Five Dysfunctions of a Team, Crucial Conversations, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect or equivalent certifications.
- Advanced skills in O365 Suite.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrate the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with the internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and conduct instructor-led, dynamic, learner-driven Leadership training events throughout the Telecare enterprise including New Hire Orientation.
- Responsible for researching exciting, interactive, and creative ways to deliver soft skills training, information, and material.
- Partner with subject matter experts, both in and outside of Telecare, to ensure training content reflects the most current leadership processes and policies for application within our dynamic environment.
- Create and maintain content and its development for all leadership and staff non-clinical training, including facilitator guide, participant workbook, and PPT.
- Manage and update content based on feedback from leaders and participants, as necessary to adapt to policy & process changes.
- Maintain records and reports within the Learning Management System of all staff education that has been provided.
- Drive other projects as needed by executives or as business needs change.
- Partner with the training team to keep the training calendar, SharePoint site, and other training communication up to date and relevant.
- Work closely with Telecare Leaders to support training requests by developing training to meet their needs or helping to identify outside resources.
- Facilitate training three to four (3-4) days each week based on the annual training calendar.
- Travel is required.
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management.
Position requires driving own personal vehicle for company business such as trainings, offsite meetings, etc.
SKILLS
- Facilitation of small and large groups both in person and remotely using a virtual platform.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of principles of adult learning.
- Engaging manner that fosters open communication.
- Ability to develop interactive training.
- Highly organized in record maintenance.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, climb and lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or less as well as to frequently walk, stand, twist, reach and do simple and power grasping. The position requires also requires driving and flying. Visual requirements include computers, books, and video exposure.
