We are searching for a talented STAT RN. A minimum of three (3) years of critical care/emergency nursing is required.
Hours: 28hrs
Shift: DAY/EVE, 7:00am - 7:30pm on weekends and holidays and 3:00pm - 11:30pm on weekday; with weekend and holiday rotation
Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA
Exciting opportunity on SK2!! A busy medical telemetry unit with an average daily census of 24 patients. Excellent department to encounter a variety of diagnoses that challenge and develop clinical skills. We are known for our teamwork and for the sense of community among the staff.
Looking for:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of critical care/emergency nursing is required.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) is preferred.

Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Care or Designee, perform diversified duties related to critical care emergency nursing to all areas of the hospital. Serve as a member of the Rapid Response and Code 99 Resuscitation Teams. Provide support to Critical Care, PACU and the Emergency departments during high census and/or high acuity of patients. Provide nursing assessment, intervention, and evaluation of care for patients in accordance to SHG policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of ANA clinical nursing practice.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of critical care/emergency nursing is required.
- Position responsibilities require flexibility and critical thinking skills.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range
USD $40.91 - USD $72.58 /Hr.
