ResponsibilitiesPosition responsible to assist Director of Pharmacy and/or management designee with all purchasing activities for the Pharmacy department. May also perform the duties of a Pharmacy Technician.
Qualifications- Texas Board of Pharmacy registration for Pharmacy Tech required. National IV Certification must be obtained within six (6) months of employment.
- Reading and numerical competency.
- Minimum of Three (3) years experience in retail or hospital pharmacy.
- Knowledge of basic medical and pharmaceutical terminology, basic pharmacy calculations/equivalents, and basic knowledge of computers required. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities. Must be adept at working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
