Epic TravelStaffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU 48’s
Shift : Days / 7a-7:30p, 12×4, 48 hours per week, will accept 36’s, with weekends
Length : 13 weeks
Required to work 2 of the 3 holidays that fall within their contract (or a majority if there are 4 holidays).
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
Requirements:
- IN/Compact License
- Minimum 2 years experience
- BCLS
- ACLS
Other Details: - Skillset Requirements: Proficient in cardiac monitoring- on unit monitoring, Management of chest tubes, Fresh trachs, Feeding tube care and management, Care of post of patients
- Epidurals, Management of non-titratable cardiac drips, IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips, External BiPAP/CPAP, Total laryngectomy, Doppler flap checks
- First Time Travelers Accepted
- Float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU)
Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 holidays that fall within their contract (or a majority if there are 4 holidays).
Holidays include- Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day and New Years Eve/Day

*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLS
Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience
Proficient in cardiac monitoring- on unit monitoring
Management of chest tubes
Feeding tube care and management
Care of post of patients
Epidurals
Management of non-titratable cardiac drips
IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips
External BiPAP/CPAP
Total laryngectomy
Doppler flap checks
Unit Information: Surgical PCU- almost ICU level acuity- ENT (Neck dissections, Mandibulectomy), Thoracic (Esophagectomy, Lobectomy, Pneumonectomy), General Surg. (Pancreatic, Bowel/ liver resections), Urology (Urinary diversions, cystectomies, RPLND), Medical overflow
