Summary: Clinical Research Assistant helps investigators and coordinates proper clinical trial recruitment, participant screening, and participant visit intake.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates participants for trial screening and ensures complete and proper execution of the protocol schedule of assessments and data entry.
- Assists in participants’ recruiting using proper regulatory approved documents and recruitment procedures; schedules prescreening and screening activities. Prepares review of inclusion/exclusion criteria for participant eligibility, per protocol. Maintains current potential participants list in accordance to OHRPP, IRB, ICH/GCP, and other applicable regulations.
- Tracks participants' progress in the study, prepares and manages participant study binders, following proper completion of source document worksheets, and ensures PI/Sub-I complete their tasks for each visit.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Clinical Research Coordinator/Research Assistant, CRC/CCRC
- Experience in venipuncture
- Associates/Bachelors or other college degree preferred
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record System preferred.
- Working knowledge of clinical research policies and guidelines set forth by:
- US – Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Human Research Protection Program (HRPP)
- International Council for Harmonization – Good Clinical Practice (ICH/GCP)
Special Conditions of Employment:
Furnish proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
