About the role:
As part of the HCP Operations team, this role directly contributes to Boston Scientific's mission for Corporate Social Responsibility and Giving in the functional sector of Grants, Donations, and Exhibits for the Endoscopy Division. The Grants Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, customer engagement, and execution of 3rd party Medical Education grant requests as well as coordination of local/regional exhibit requests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the main contact for Medical Education with In-Kind product requests, managing communications with HCPs and BSC employees.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of Medical Education Requests, including product lists, staffing, and communication with 3rd Party Course Directors.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines, including record-keeping and reporting.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including HCP Operations, Logistics, Professional Education, and Compliance.
- Utilize knowledge of Endoscopy products and procedures to create product lists for hands-on stations.
- Manage proprietary and confidential communications and information with independent judgment and discretion.
- Plan, coordinate, and support the execution of 3rd party programs, managing systems like EndoGrants and Blackbaud.
- Gather input from requestors, summarize historical sponsorship, and present requests to the grant committee for sponsorship decisions.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, science, or healthcare discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience including compliance, online meetings, organizational skills, working with HCPs, and other experiences.
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the medical device or a related field.
- Project management skills.
- Endoscopy product knowledge and/or clinical experience.
- Comfortable with learning new systems.
- Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Proven strengths in methodical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Blackbaud and Salesforce applications.
