Brightwater is a property management company which oversees the development and building of Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care senior living communities.
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk with an accounting background and experience in assisting with day-to-day business/office operations. Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday
Location: Bend, Oregon (must be able to work from our Central Office in Bend)

Qualifications:
- Experience with accounts receivable (required).
- Have 2 or more years of Accounting Experience.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks; work efficiently with minimal supervision; detail-oriented.
- Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain resident, employee, and community information in strict confidence (with the Central Office team, community management, or other employees as necessary).
Perform duties including but not limited to:
- Prepares, posts, verifies and records payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Creates invoices according to company practices.
- Maintains and updates files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
- Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections; identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment.
- Creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
- Research discrepancies and past-due amounts.
- Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
- Assists in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
- Perform general office duties including but not limited to handling mail, processing payments, electronically filing information, and assisting in other various projects as needed.
