About The Role
Reporting to the Director Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Manager, FP&A partners with HR leadership to manage financial planning and analysis for U.S. employee benefit plans, global compensation programs, global/regional HR delivery centers, and other HR-driven projects. The Financial planning & Analysis manager also manages the Company’s accounting for defined-benefit plans and the financial implications of any plan changes across the globe. In this role, you will provide business partnership and functional expense management for Global Risk Management, Global Communications and Corporate Affairs, and Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with HR leadership, provide financial planning and analysis for HR functional costs and related spend.
- Manage and forecast cost pool for US employee benefit plans and support cost/benefit analyses of potential benefit plan changes.
- Support analysis for Company-wide compensation programs, such as payout calculations for profit sharing and/or long-term incentive plans and identifying/projecting financial implications.
- Lead global charge out methodology and accounting for global/regional HR delivery centers, working with local Finance teams, shared service centers and Corporate Tax.
- Provide ad hoc support for HR initiatives and special projects, such as Workday implementations.
- Manage the accounting for defined-benefit plans globally.
- Govern defined-benefit plan accounting globally, providing support to subsidiary Finance across the globe.
- Lead year-end defined-benefit plan audit activities with external auditors and prepare financial statement disclosures.
- Perform accounting for US plans, including budgeting/forecasting in partnership with Corporate Treasury and the Company’s actuaries.
- Ad hoc financial analysis and support for plan changes or additions.
- Partnering with Global Risk Management, Global Communications and Corporate Affairs and Sustainability leadership, provide financial planning and analysis for functional costs and related spend.
Required Experience You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 7+ years of Accounting/Finance related experience, or 5+ years of related experience with an advanced degree.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Experiences And Skills
- CPA designation.
- Public accounting audit experience a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and across functions.
- Deals well with ambiguity and leads others through change by zeroing in on the critical few.
- Natural attention to detail; drives decisions with higher-level data and insights.
Job Requirements
- Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees.
- Full-time, on-site position at corporate headquarters in Racine, WI.
