Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking a Data Analyst/Engineer to support the US Air Force’s National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) in Dayton, OH. In this position, you will join a team that is responsible for analyzing and assessing foreign technical capabilities and intentions. The selected candidate for this position will work with large and complex datasets, employing advanced analytical techniques to derive actionable insights for our clients.
Key Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of classified intelligence data from diverse sources.
- Employ statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies within classified datasets.
- Manage and optimize databases to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of classified intelligence data.
- Ensure strict adherence to security protocols and classification standards when handling and processing classified information.
- Work closely with intelligence analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Required/Desired Skills, Experience, And Education
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- 5 or more years of related experience.
- Experience in data analysis, including statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to extract meaningful intelligence from complex and diverse datasets.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and expertise in optimizing database performance.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
