Job Description
UKG is looking for a self-motivated, proactive Financial Analyst with proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment to support our growing Finance organization. This position will be part of the Recurring Revenue FP&A team and provide analysis on customer contracts data, customer Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), support the monthly retention analysis as well as leveraging tools such as Alteryx and Power BI to develop reports and improve current reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and continually update Calgary Databases (Contracts, Revenue, Billings) using existing Alteryx workflows.
- Leverage Alteryx and Power BI to develop detailed workflows and dashboards to improve reporting and analysis efficiency.
- Provide monthly reports to external stakeholders supporting overall corporate business objectives.
- Support the Recurring Revenue team in their monthly analyses, quarterly forecasts, and yearly budget process.
- Support the monthly retention, credit, and billings analyses, quarterly forecasts, and yearly budget process.
- Help respond to ad hoc business partner inquiries leveraging our existing data sets.
- Work with Shared Services team in the preparation of monthly consolidated SUB and MNT Retention Analyses.
- Support the development of monthly reports providing key Revenue and Retention metrics in support of various business units, allowing leadership to make informed business decisions.
- Identify issues, propose, and drive forward solutions on new and existing reporting.
- Partner with IT as needed for system solutioning in the development of new data capture/reporting requirements.
- Recommend and implement process automation.
- Support special projects/create ad hoc analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Advanced Excel skill level with modeling experience.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, & strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication/presentation skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and to proactively anticipate/resolve potential issues.
- 0 to 3 years’ experience in a Financial Analyst role including financial modeling and reporting in MS Excel.
- Experience with Alteryx and Microsoft Power BI a plus.
