We have a team of great caregivers and we are looking for a well-rounded individual to guide and inspire our exceptional team. We provide non-medical caregiving services for seniors and persons with disabilities.
To become a Sunlight Senior Care Caregiver, you must possess the following attributes:

To guide such amazing people, you must not only have the above qualities but the experience and knowledge that goes with being a caregiver.
You would be assisting the main contact person for all recruits, training and scheduling related issues associated with Sunlight Senior Care caregivers. However, your primary role will be to perform assessments and create care plans as well as follow the clients care plan and guide the caregivers on how to perform proper care.
You would play a vital role in protecting the company's image and mission not only to the public, but to caregivers as well. Responsible for all aspects of caregiver care and data collection, problem solving, onboarding and compliance. Also, responsible for independently learning all aspects of new company procedures and training as approved and directed by the executive team.
Typical hours of work include Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm and as needed based on scheduling conflicts and shifts left open, meaning your schedule would be dictated by your time management and on-call rotation.
You MUST create and participate in on-call rotation based on care team capacity.
Role and Responsibilities
- Utilize computerized data collection system to accurately monitor, correct and report data on a timely basis.
- Assure that each day’s visits are properly documented.
- Be responsible for maintaining data system so records are accurate and complete.
- Assure that updates are input daily as submitted by caregivers and management team.
- Identify conflicts in patient care and make judgement calls as to the best path forward.
- Ensure all involved are up to date on the latest care plans.
- Identify problems ahead of time and initiate appropriate actions.
- Keep up to date and detailed records on all client cares and schedules.
- Coordinate with scheduler and trainer to assure quality care.
- Communicate appropriately with caregiver staff: Operations, Sales/Marketing, Clients and other contacts and accurately relay messages as needed.
- Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance.
- Communicates deadlines and client goals to caregiver team members.
- Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
- Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
- Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines.
- Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards.
- Provides quality customer service, including interacting with caregivers, answering caregiver enquiries, and effectively handling caregiver complaints.
Skills and Qualifications requirement
- Minimum 3 years’ experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professionalism, attention to detail and effectiveness.
- Trouble-shooting, prioritizing and organizational skills essential.
- Experience with private residence in-home care scheduling.
Additional Notes
This position requires you to be on call and work after hours as needed based on staffing needs.
