Our client is a growing healthcare provider that is seeking an experienced Front End Revenue Cycle Manager! This is a newly created role where you will have oversight of their RCM vendors, manage a refunds project, focus on time of service collections, and do some team building! If you like the front end of revenue cycle/patient access, then you'll like this role!
Your focus will be front desk, registration, verification of benefits, cost estimates, prior authorizations, time of service collections, financial counselors, and vendor relations.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Experiences:
- Strong understanding of front end revenue cycle departments including scheduling, registration, authorizations, verification of benefits, cost estimates, operational estimates for procedures, time of service collections, and the ability to speak to patients professionally and with compassion.
- Strong communicator and people person that can communicate with several different departments and providers.
- Strong written communication skills that can draft emails to vendors, CFO, providers, and management company.
- Is comfortable speaking with physicians and explaining things to them. Knows when things need to be discussed with providers (like coding denials).
- Adaptable to change.
- Strong personality who knows structure, can build processes and can analyze things from a process improvement standpoint.
- Hands-on management style that can get in the weeds in all things revenue cycle.
- Excellent organizational skills.
