Job: Senior Accountant

Location: Wood Dale, IL

Pay: $38-42/hr

Job Details:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Prepare and review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements.
Maintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Manage and coordinate the annual audit process with external auditors.
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting functions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a senior or supervisory role.
Worked in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills for both internal teams and external customers.
