Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax planning strategies
- Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documents
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tax associates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA Certification preferred
Experience level:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and securities law
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Experience with financial planning and analysis
- Familiarity with payroll and sales tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Extended hours during tax season
Ability to commute/relocate:
- St. Louis, MO 63119: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
