Your Performance Advisor will meet with you regularly to make sure all of your questions are answered. You’ll be assigned a “buddy” to help you with those first few days and weeks when you’re transitioning to your new role.
You’ll perform auditing and consulting services under the direction of our talented Senior Accountants, Managers, Senior Managers, Principals and Directors. Expect to have regular contact with our Directors.

In addition to the necessary continuing professional education (CPE) to maintain an active CPA license, and meet the requirements of the AICPA, we provide soft skill training as part of our EARN initiative. EARN (Employee Advancement & Retention Network) was created to determine and meet the needs of our diverse employee base.
Employees are offered the opportunity to develop professionally through seminars and local, regional and self-study courses. STAFF ACCOUNTANT POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Accounting, Information Systems or Internal Audit (150 hours required for those who wish to pursue their CPA)
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.3; minimum GPA of 3.3 in major course of study
- Minor concentration or additional coursework in information technology a plus
- The desire to pursue certification – CIA, CPA, CISA, CISSA, PMP, etc.
- Familiarity with COSO and SOX internal control requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; solid organizational skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and other programs
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately nationally and internationally approximately 50%; a significant amount within the WNY region
- Motivated to be part of a team atmosphere
