POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis, including developing and interpreting financial concepts related to financial planning and control, developing and maintaining reports related to corporate budgets and the annual and long-term planning process. The position will collaborate cross-functionally to produce accurate and timely information to enhance forecast accuracy and make better planning decisions for the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supplemental information
- Assist in the monthly close process by attending review meetings with department owners in collaboration with the Accounting team
- Assist in the corporate budget and forecasting process for assigned departments
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather the relevant data, analyze trends, and provide insights to drive accurate and realistic financial projections
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets for assigned departments
- Assist in the development of tools and processes to provide critical financial and operational information to management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement KPIs and metrics aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with internal partners to evaluate proposed initiatives, including calculating NPV, project ROIs, and other relevant financial metrics
- Assist in the design and implementation of improved processes and procedures related to the financial planning and reporting group
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends for KPI development, operational performance metrics, and financial analysis
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and projects as requested by senior management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 2-3 years of Financial Analysis experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office products (primarily Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated, high initiative, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Effective computer, verbal communication and written/report writing skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with interests in building strong business partnering relationships
- Detail-oriented with appropriate organizational and analytical skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a manufacturing and/or medical device environment
- Experience in using PowerBI for data visualization, reporting, and dashboard creation
- Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis
- Accounting/US GAAP knowledge
- Data analysis experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
- Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
