Accounting Leadership Development Program (ALDP)
The Opportunity
Endless opportunities abound at the Fortune 1 Company to accelerate your career in the Accounting Leadership Development Program. We are searching for exceptional young professionals with leadership potential for our highly developmental and rigorous two-year rotational leadership development program.
The Program
During the 2-year program, you will experience 4 distinct areas in controllership and audit, each with a 6-month rotation. You will work on challenging and innovative, strategically relevant projects that drive our business forward and create value for our customers. You will also be immersed directly into the regular activities of our Controllership and Audit teams supporting various areas of the organization, including Strategy, Operations, Merchandising, Treasury, Global Controller’s Office, Audit, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Real Estate in one of our business segments: Walmart US, Sam’s Club, International, or Corporate. Through on-the-job experience, you will gain broad accounting experience and take ownership of a project while working in a dynamic team environment. Throughout your program experience, you will present to executive leadership and participate in targeted development. Ultimately, we will invest in you to grow your skills as an accounting professional: critical thinking, learning the business, exposure to today’s top executives, and mentoring, all while having FUN!

The Intangibles
More important than the focus of your study is the horsepower you bring to the role:

- Your style must be forward and persuasive as you’re asked to solve real business problems with a high degree of complexity and ambiguity.
