Summary:
The Corporate segment of the Tax & Accounting Business Unit is creating a program to find the best recent college graduates and develop them into contributing members of the Indirect Tax professional services organization. You will be expected to develop a deep functional expertise within core implementation services through a combination of shadowing, coaching, and hands-on application. The role is designed to provide the applicant an opportunity to learn and become certified in the core skills needed to be successful within the Indirect Tax Professional Services Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be trained in the fundamentals of tax and accounting.
- Interact with client tax and technology professionals.
- Assist in business and tax requirements sessions and formulate into design/solution documentation.
- Engage with other key teams to deliver end-to-end Indirect Tax solutions.
- Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases.
- Assist Project team to ensure all Indirect tax related requirements are met.
- Explain ONESOURCE Determination related issues/problems and solutions to Tax & technical staff.
- Work with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE Solutions.
- Configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination Engine.
- Complete tasks with limited supervision and perform technical or functional roles on small to medium projects led by a Sr. Implementation Consultant or Project Manager.
- Shadow internal and external project calls.
- Document and provide status updates on assigned work.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with ONESOURCE Software (Preferred).
- Communicate effectively in written and oral form with employees of all levels and external customers.
- Strong ability to work well in a team environment.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- High proficiency with MS Office / Advanced Excel.
- Experience with process analysis, design & mapping.
- Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
