Position Title: Mission Assurance Analyst
Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Shift: Support on-site on weekends and/or after-hours as required by specific projects (approximately 5-10% of the time)

Description of Duties:
The Mission Assurance Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
- Apply industry best practices to requirements definition, design, implementation, and verification & validation (V&V) of MDIOC infrastructure and facility projects.
- Address and adjudicate MDA mission system impacts with multiple customers during the implementation phase of infrastructure projects.
- Introduce and apply engineering rigor and discipline during collaboration, integration, coordination, design and planning with facility and mission partners.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as updated processes, requirements traceability matrices, SE checklists, Executive Briefs, etc.
- Perform systems engineering impact assessments.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and MDIOC safety procedures.
- Work closely with Facilities Engineering & Operations (FEO) as well as Facilities, Operations, & Maintenance (FOM) team.
- Understand and interpret engineering schematics, designs and infrastructure drawings.
- Possess a broad knowledge of MDIOC Unified Facilities Guide Specification (MUFGS) to include standards for infrastructure activities, configuration management, architectural structures, electrical systems, mechanical systems, fire suppression systems, information technology systems, and security systems.
- Work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to closely interact and engage with a wide variety of customers.
- Multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, have good communication skills, work well in a team environment and have good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Clearly present and articulate solutions to government customers and stakeholders (individually, as a high level brief, and/or to a large group).
- Support on-site on weekends and/or after-hours as required by specific projects (approximately 5-10% of the time; Compensatory Time and Flex Time available).
- Communicate scope of work, briefings, and project details to any and all levels of contractors and government customers.
Basic Requirements:- Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience.
- Must have 5 years of experience in related field.
- Must have a clear working knowledge and understanding of government facility operations and systems.
- Must have basic electrical and infrastructure knowledge of facilities, data centers, etc.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Desired Requirements:- Experience with mechanical, fire suppression, and electrical facility systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a mechanical, electrical, or experience in facility modernization, and maintenance industry.
- Life Cycle Construction Management knowledge and experience with working all facets of the construction industry.
This position is expected to pay
$69,500 - $94,500 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
