This position is responsible for supporting the division to help identify, track, and organize legislative and regulatory activity, and conduct research on health care and health insurance, and key policy issues; helping to compile reports, newsletter items, fact sheets and legislative briefing documents on key policy issues.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree AND 3 years in a regulatory environment.
- Experience working with executive personnel.
- Project management experience and ability to handle multiple projects.
- Knowledge of State and local political and legislative processes.
- Verbal and written communication skills to include persuading policy makers; writing, editing, disseminating complex information in a clear, concise manner which is flexible to suit the needs of a diverse constituency.
- Independent judgment skills.
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word and internet based legislative tracking programs.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Knowledge of the State Insurance Code.
- 3 years of experience in a regulatory or legislative environment.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote weekly.
