Position Overview
The Financial Analyst at Kinettix is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and projections using data from Business Central, Microsoft Data Fabric, and Dispatch 1. This role involves developing internal management reports in collaboration with the operations, finance, and sales departments. The role will require report writing out of Power BI to accomplish the tasks that will be consumable for all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop Financial Models: Ensure accurate and timely project risk-return analysis.
- Utilize Historical Results: Determine trends and identify business drivers.
- Prepare Reports: Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly consolidation management reports on solution desk and vendor development efforts.
- Assist in Budget Preparation: Collaborate with the Director of Finance to prepare the budget and strategic plan.
- Financial Analysis: Assist in preparing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet analysis.
- Commentaries and Bridging Schedules: Prepare documents for budget variance.
- Identify Performance Variances: Recognize revenue drivers and business opportunities.
- Business Forecasting: Assist in financial analysis and business forecasts.
- Corporate Reporting: Liaise with the Solution Desk and Finance for corporate reporting.
- Monitor and Feedback: Provide feedback between proforma models (solution team) and actuals (delivery team).
- Evaluate Cost Models: Analyze trends in all markets supported by Kinettix at various geographic levels (country, state, city, postal code).
- Financial Reporting Requirements: Work with the development team to establish appropriate reporting requirements.
- Project Involvement: Participate in other projects within the organization as needed.
- Identify Trends: Recognize trends that may affect the health of the business in both short and long-term horizons.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting. Professional certification is preferred but not required.
- Reside in the Cincinnati region.
- 3-5 years experience in management accounting.
- International Travel.
- Power BI report writing, Python, and DAX language.
