The HRIS Analyst is responsible for providing frontline support for the Workday Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role involves handling day-to-day inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and supporting HR functions through the Workday platform. Key responsibilities include working closely with employees throughout the organization to ensure the system operates smoothly and efficiently, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting users with basic system navigation and reporting.
Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve Tier 1 level support tickets related to the Workday platform (e.g., user access, basic configuration, navigation)
- Investigate and troubleshoot Workday-related issues, escalating complex problems to higher level Administrators as needed
- Assist with maintaining HR data integrity by running audits, performing regular system checks, reviewing data input and performing corrections
- Generate and distribute simple ad-hoc reports and analytics from Workday, helping HR teams and managers access the data they need
- Provide general guidance and support to HR system users, including managers and employees, to navigate the Workday platform
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and job aids related to system processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guides
- Ensure data management and reporting processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to optimize system functionality and support business processes
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of HRIS operations
Qualifications- Minimum of one year of experience working with Workday HRIS as an administrator.
- Proficient knowledge of HRIS systems, including Workday
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including familiarity with HR processes, data management, and reporting
- Experience providing Tier 1 technical or user support is preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
- Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
- Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and often complex problems or situations
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
