Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of NAV packages, waterfalls, and financial statements.
- Assist in reviewing capital calls and distributions to investors.
- Calculate and maintain fund performance metrics.
- Support the team during internal audits, external audits, and regulatory examinations by preparing relevant documentation.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by the fund accounting team, which may involve research and data analysis.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Master's degree in Accounting and/or CPA a plus.
- 5-8 years of total experience.
- Fund accounting experience (private or at an administrator) and/or public accounting experience with clients in the private equity industry required. A mix of public/private experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and process complex financial data accurately.
Position Details
- Temp position with opportunity to convert permanent.
- Hybrid schedule either in NY or FL: 3 days on-site, 2 remote.
