Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the close process and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. In addition, the Senior Accountant will assist the Finance organization with special projects and analyses. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate close of financial books, including reconciliations of accounts.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Support external auditors to facilitate annual audits.
- Participate in department and organization special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a financial accounting role.
- CPA designation preferred, but not required.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with Oracle a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
