OBJECTIVES
- Analyses and interprets operational needs, problems, and opportunities of business processes.
- Contributes to business processes improvements within area of responsibility.
- Coordination of special projects across DD&T.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assists DD&T Business Planning Lead to help coordinate DD&T LT calendar and management of the executive administrative services/team and ICC resources.
- Assists DD&T Business Planning Lead in coordinating CDTO external and internal engagements, trip planning, brief book preparation, and coordinating CDTO participation in internal events such as TLC/GIF/Aspire.
- Assists in coordinating material creation for recurring meeting/reporting commitments (i.e., LT meetings, QBR meetings, leadership updates, CEO Review, key events – Town Halls, etc.) in strong coordination with OCM/communications and other functions providing content.
- Provides input into project budgets and reporting within own area.
- Analyzes and documents business requirements for area of responsibility.
- Interacts with department/project team members by supporting to help make decisions.
- Works independently under moderate supervision with stakeholders to prioritize requirements within a clear framework of accountability.
- Plans own work to meet given objectives and processes.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with business stakeholders in analyzing and supporting projects and ongoing operations.
- Leads special projects as needed.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES, AND SKILLS:
Required:
- Associate degree or equivalent.
- 2-5 years relevant experience.
- Ability to write and speak in the English language.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Practice efficient time management and coordinate tasks, working in an international environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams Environment.
- Experience supporting business processes.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of relevant business solutions.
- Ability to work pro-actively, virtually, and face-to-face in group settings.
- Ability to present, to ask questions, to summarize and to lead small meetings.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Pharmaceutical industry and/or drug development business experience.
- Experience in supporting multiple cross-functional, local, or global projects.
- Experience with Takeda operations.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- In office presence required 10 days per month.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Access to transportation to attend meetings.
- Ability to fly to meetings globally.
