RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicates with vendors, producers, policy holders, clients and insurance companies to communicate claim status.
- Provides initial and on-going advocacy on losses including reserve, coverage analysis, and communication.
- Reports to authorities as applicable, providing updates on litigated claims.
- Provides producer inquiry assistance.
- Creates and maintains reports and worksheets as needed.
- Travels as necessary to attend appeal hearings, trials, and assist with on-site investigations.
- Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four (4) or more years’ experience in handling commercial property claims.
SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
