Job Summary
This senior level worker is principally in charge of managing internal audit procedures, carrying out intricate financial evaluation and modelling projects, producing reports on region/business unit performance, forecasting and budgeting, and finishing costing tasks.
Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Carries out or manages business-specific projects by putting extensive subject-matter knowledge to use, encouraging adherence to all rules and regulations, and creating work schedules that satisfy deadlines and corporate requirements. Choosing and implementing procedures and techniques.
- Leads financial assessments (e.g., Situational, Strengths/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats, Opportunity-Based Strategic Planning, System Value Chain Analysis) to assess the business environment. Interprets and communicates data in reports that summarise economic, financial, or business data.
- Oversees the internal audit process, analyses the findings, and collaborates with auditors to address significant vulnerabilities, apply adjustments to internal controls, and proactively identify high-risk areas.
- Develops and disseminates budgets and/or forecasts in line with business strategy initiatives through the interpretation and communication of budgeting trends, the dissemination of budget and complicated forecasting findings, involvement in the budget preparation process for departments and regions, and the formulation of suggestions.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- Three (3) years minimum of leadership experience, either with or without direct reporting.
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a similar discipline is required; however, it may be replaced with equivalent work experience in a subject that is closely related.
- Eight (8) years of minimum experience in financial planning and analysis, or expertise in a closely similar field of business.
