Job Description
- Responsible for the implementation of RM methods in a dedicated hotel to maximize turnover in accordance with hotel strategies, brand’s marketing, and customer’s needs.
- Ensure all revenue management processes are in place in the hotel, implementing the Director Revenue Manager's strategy on a daily basis, updating planning, quoting groups, and alerting the Director Revenue Manager when the market deviates from strategy.
- Help reach and exceed the operational turnover budget of the hotel.
- Support the Director Revenue Manager in creating the strategy (with proper analysis) and work effectively with the implemented revenue management system. Implement the strategy based on daily recommendations in distribution channels and check system recommendations for sense, providing complementary or revised proposals for optimization.
- Communicate the processes to follow regarding booking quality and correct data input into the PMS to the reservation and front office team.
- Regularly check the input and quality of data (segmentation, denials tracking, etc.).
- Update the event database (e.g., in RMS).
- People Management
- Analyze hotel performance in the RMS as a basis for strategy decisions.
- Survey the market and competitors in terms of pricing and closed dates as a basis for future pricing strategies.
- Analyze contract performance (price, allotments, number of rooms sold, etc.) before decisions on renewals are made.
- Act as support in the preparation of the annual revenue budget.
