ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, a key function is ensuring timely responses on price quote activity. You’ll also:
- Provide timely spot quotation details (rates, operational costs, etc.) for cargoes outside of set parameters to sales/sales support teams and agents in line with the pricing framework.
- Handle FMC filing requests and ensure we are FMC compliant on trade lanes.
- Analyze spot cargo pricing trends to develop tariffs and secure businesses that contribute to maximizing short/mid-term Trade profitability.
- Engage in optimizing our processes, systems, and tools.
- Gather and work with data in existing or new dashboards.
QualificationsWHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Minimum 2-3 years’ Sales or Trade experience.
- Familiarity with the U.S. Code of Federal Regulation (cFR) and Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) Regulation of U.S. Ocean borne import/export cargo.
- Strong analytical skills, enjoys working with numbers/data.
- Fluent written and spoken English.

- Business Operations (Trade & Tonnage).
- Customer Growth / Product and Contracting / Pricing and Shipping Strategy.
- Port operations team experience.
- Strong interest in learning internal shipping products & external market dynamics.
- A collaborative approach, with a pro-active, growth mindset.
- In-depth experience working with different cultures, ability to adjust communication, build relationships, and be a strong team player.
