STV, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Accounting Manager to join their Douglassville, PA office. This position is designated as hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 3 days/week.
Experienced manager-level senior project and finance professional performing in the role of Senior Project Accounting Manager. Reporting directly to the VP/Director of Project Accounting and Billing Operations. Responsible for supervising Operational Group Project Analyst Leads, overseeing the training and workload of staff, auditing work product, identifying and addressing any noted deficiencies, and identifying methods to streamline efficiencies with a continual focus on process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supports and partners with business leaders across multiple functions, providing portfolio-focused review and analysis of financial performance of projects and reporting on financial metrics including cash flow.
- Responsible for Project Accounting innovation and administration; ensuring corporate compliance with all Local, State, and Federal regulations; and providing pragmatic direction to address current and future challenges in a rapidly changing and complex business climate.
- Full management responsibility for all project analyst functions and other administrative support functions as assigned.
- Leadership of projects under their responsibility with regards to invoicing life cycle and metrics, ensuring complete and accurate delivery of invoicing completed by project accounting team, and communicating and collaborating with Billing Department to resolve outstanding issues.
- Work extensively after monthly period close to review project financial performance and identify/respond to Management/Finance regarding any noted project developments or budget questions.
- Advises management, including Finance, Business, and Operation Management on the financial performance of project(s) within their operational group.
- Schedule PA Leader meetings, providing updates and recommendations to ensure consistency across the operational groups.
- Contribute, as needed in all management meetings, or any type of project review or other project meetings; support project analysts when needed in project meetings.
- Manage, train, and mentor other project analysts on financial analysis, the development of reports, interpretation of analyses done on projects, and with career development efforts.
- Responsible for delegating and assigning training for onboarding and continued learning for team members in a manner that is consistent with the Project Accounting team’s strategy and best practices.
- Oversight of internal and external project audits.
- Leader in designing, creating and/or enhancing tools to further project performance for the wider project accounting group.
- Monitor key indicators on project(s) and reports and help mitigate any potential issues using financial analysis, tools, and reports.
- Work with VP of Project Accounting and Billing Operations, contributing to budget and forecast responsibilities for project accounting group.
- Manage and provide performance guidance and leadership to assigned staff.
- Collaborate with professionals from a variety of disciplines to provide future-ready solutions for clients.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Management/Administration required.
- A minimum of 12+ years of related experience.
- Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred.
Compensation Range
$103,870.00 - $138,493.00
