Job Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation and coordination of the financial results for a Fortune 5 tech company’s food program. This is a results-driven finance role that will collaborate closely with our client, operational leaders, and global business partners to support the finance function on the central leadership team. This position reports to the Director of Finance and is hybrid with a minimum of three days in the office in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly global reporting package delivered to members of Compass’ Executive Committee.
- Complete the monthly close process tasks and work closely with the Director of Finance to continually improve the close process.
- Coordinate financial reporting and other key performance measurements with global counterparts.
- Build and maintain critical metric financial dashboards for both Compass Group management and the Client with Compass Group’s data analytics partner, E15.
- Assist finance management in the preparation of the annual budgeting process.
- Participate in monthly financial reviews with service operators and prepare a monthly financial recap to the Client (e.g., budget-to-actual, wins/opportunities, etc.).
- Conduct ad hoc financial projects (e.g., client-requested financial information, internal presentations, etc.).
Education:
- Must hold a four (4) year accounting/finance degree.
- CPA and/or MBA preferable.
- Public accounting experience a plus.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years in an Operational Finance, Financial Analyst, Accountant, or Financial Audit role.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
- Experience within a Service Retail organization a plus.
- Experience with SAP and Hyperion Essbase.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives using documented project plans (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
