Blackstone Global Fund Finance Open-Ended Funds – Assistant Vice President
Job Description:
- Responsible for day to day fund accounting, administration, and reporting of an open-ended monthly priced retail fund.
- Work directly with internal and external teams including, but not limited to strike NAVs, validate corporate level activity, subscription and redemption activity, promote calculations, management fee calculations, NAV allocations, performance calculations, liquidity forecasting, and corporate G&A.
- Work with internal and external teams to provide relevant information for the preparation of the 10-Q, 10-K, and other recurring SEC filings and ensure new transactions are appropriately disclosed.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors; coordinate SOX controls.
- Prepare/review financial information included in investor letters and internal reporting.
- Responsible for quarterly close of BX deliverables.
- Work with internal and external teams to monitor the liquidity of the entire fund structure including supporting treasury operations for investor subscriptions, redemptions and distributions; liaising with stakeholders to ensure sufficient cash is available when and where required; coordinate with the appointed service providers to monitor funds available for distribution to support the fund’s distribution policy.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects.
- Managing and mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications:
- BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance is required.
- CPA license is preferred.
- 6+ years of public/private accounting experience.
- Experience with open-ended funds and/or private equity industry is preferred.
- Experience with SEC reporting and public companies is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Highly organized and proactive.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic; ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments; strong time management skills.

Expected annual base salary range:
$125,000 - $185,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
