Job Description: This position provides lead work, training, and backup for all operations in the Cashier's Office. Responsibilities include training and support for web payment accounts, processing web deposits, initiating PCI compliance and Cash Handling Audits, submitting policy requests, coordinating payment plans, daily cash reporting, bank reconciliation, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to analyze, interpret, and prepare financial information.
Knowledge of the Minnesota Accounting and Procurement System (MAPS) or similar systems.
Working knowledge of electronic spreadsheets and word processing software.
Mathematics skills sufficient to calculate and reconcile data.
Ability to design, interpret, and explain work procedures and fiscal policies.
Ability to read and write various materials in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Commitment to fostering a diverse working environment.
Experience with a Computer PC Cash Register and adding machine.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of MinnState (ISRS) accounting system and web database.

Other Requirements: Work safely at all times and participate in required safety trainings.

Work Shift (Hours / Days of work): Monday - Friday, Academic Year Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Summer Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Telework: No, this position requires on-campus work.
