This position works in collaboration to strategize, plan and develop materials for a variety of pursuit marketing mediums and platforms. We are looking for someone who can cultivate connections with superior attention to detail, has excellent interpersonal communication skills and bold, innovative ideas to optimize our marketing and communication efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develops strategic marketing and sales materials to build brand awareness, increase opportunity, build partnerships and advance business goals
- Leads the pursuit response process from premarketing through interview
- Conducts client background research and identifies questions, concerns, and potential risks to inform the strategic visioning and pursuit planning stage of the process
- Participates in development of win strategies and ensures pursuit materials reflect unique value proposition
- Accurately evaluates, proofs, edits, rewords and writes content to deliver a high-quality, compliant, error-free submission
- Proactively tracks commitments and communicates with all team members (local and remote stakeholders) to ensure internal deadlines are met
- Leads and enforces quality control and continuous improvement in area of specialty
- Mentors junior proposal specialists in best practices and engaging technical design layouts
- Develops and maintains templates, boilerplate content and best practices, working through internally established systems
- Develops and maintains strong stakeholder relationships
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
• Postsecondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent
• Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) foundation certification, Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification or equivalent is preferred
• 7 years of progressive experience in a proposal role
• Knowledge of AEC industry trends, terminology and project delivery methods
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
• Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
• Advanced written and visual communication skills. Ability to create grammatically sound, customized, technical, written content with maximized readability and a customer focus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and superior InDesign layout skills: competent functionality within Adobe Suite programs (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Requires little to no direction in area of specialization

The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,800 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
