Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Construction War Room Manager to oversee our project management operations in a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the strategic and tactical efforts of our construction teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of construction processes and project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- War Room Operations: Establish and manage the construction war room, a centralized hub for project coordination, real-time problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of project managers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and present project data, metrics, and KPIs to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, escalate, and resolve project challenges and risks proactively, utilizing a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Resource Management: Monitor resource allocation and utilization to optimize productivity and efficiency across project teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and process improvements within the war room operations to enhance project delivery and team performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have working knowledge of Federal DOE Orders.
- Experience with the Fluor Gate review process.
- Proven experience in construction project management, with a minimum of 20 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
LOCATION
Aiken, SC. Position is 100% on-site.

The work schedule will be a nominal 40-hour work week. It is estimated that each standard year will consist of two-thousand and eighty hours. Ability to work a schedule that includes weekend days.
