QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements for Compensation Analyst:
- 2-5 years of experience in a related field, such as HR, compensation analysis, financial analysis, or business operations.
- Bachelor's Degree: Typically, in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced Degrees/Certifications: Compensation Professional (CCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), preferred but not required.
- Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
SKILLS:
Skills and Abilities Required for Compensation Analyst
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large sets of data to identify trends, discrepancies, and actionable insights.
- Data Management, Technical Skills & Statistical and Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform statistical analyses to assess pay equity and compensation trends.
- Excel Proficiency: Expertise in functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and advanced formulas to manipulate data.
- HRIS Systems: Knowledge of HRIS Systems, including running queries and accessing and manipulating data.
- Knowledge of Compensation Practices: Deep understanding of various compensation structures: salary, bonuses, equity, incentives, and benefits.
- Compliance, Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of pay equity regulations, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Equal Pay Act.

As the Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for researching, in-depth analysis of compensation and benefits programs, and developing compensation structures and strategies for the organizations to ensure fair, competitive, and equitable pay practices.
The HR Compensation Analyst will assist in the administration of the compensation program which includes:
- Responsible for intake of compensation/classification forms.
- Classifying non-exempt and exempt positions.
- Conducting salary surveys.
- Assists with market matching for job classifications using a variety of tools and software.
- Maintains compensation database, job code tables, and reviews and troubleshoots hiring forms and systems compensation standards.
- Overseeing annual merit pay increases.
- Collecting and analyzing data on wages and salaries and evaluating job positions to determine classification and salary.
- Assist in the design and administration of compensation programs and may help in preparing compensation reports.
- Time and attendance processing/auditing.
- Works as part of a team to approve job actions and applies proper coding to ensure correct actions are processed for both internal and external reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
