Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a Private Equity backed Services Company to find a Technical Senior Financial Analyst for their FP&A Team. The company has gone through tremendous growth and has grown 4x over the last few years from organic growth and acquisitions. This role will report directly to the Director of FP&A and have a lot of exposure and communication with C-Suite and Regional Leaders. The Technical Analyst will be the bridge between the financial operations and data systems. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for maintaining robust financial reporting systems, creating data visualizations, and implementing automated processes to enhance the financial decision-making capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced SQL queries and stored procedures for complex financial data analysis
- Develop and maintain sophisticated Tableau dashboards and reports for real-time financial insights
- Automate financial reporting processes using SQL, Python, or other relevant tools
- Conduct in-depth data mining and statistical analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate financial systems and improve data flow
- Implement and maintain data quality controls and validation processes
- Develop predictive models for financial forecasting and scenario planning
- Create and maintain documentation for all technical processes and systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably 3+ years of strong technical skills
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and database optimization
- Advanced skills in Tableau, including dashboard design, calculated fields, and custom visualizations
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting methodologies
- Experience with cloud-based financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
