Senior Claims Specialist- Multinational Casualty

As a Senior Multinational Claims handler, you will play a critical role in handling and resolving AXA XL's claims for the Multinational team. You will work closely with your manager and fellow Claims colleagues to drive files to resolution and will interact and collaborate frequently with Regional Practice Leaders and the Underwriting team.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Handling assigned claims across multiple jurisdictions, setting the case strategy in partnership with Regional Practice Leaders and Claims management.
- Partnering with internal and external counsel in setting and pursuing effective and cost-efficient litigation strategies for claims in litigation.
- Coordinating and managing communication with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Underwriting, brokers, reinsurers, external vendors) to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Consulting with Regional Practice Leaders and Claims management on Large Losses to achieve the best outcome for the client and XL.
- Producing internal reporting and ensuring that reserves are set according to best practice guidelines.
- Identifying, monitoring, and reporting on emerging liability and coverage trends.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Broad US and International claims experience: Advanced relevant experience handling general liability and products liability claims.
- Strong communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Collaborative approach: Develop productive working relationships with insured, brokers, claim handlers, Underwriters, and legal counsel.
- Strong ethics: Handle responsibilities with integrity and professionalism.
- Passion for results: Approach tasks proactively and prioritize multiple work streams without sacrificing quality.
- Intellectual curiosity: Willing to ask questions and explore new ideas.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Possession of state adjuster licenses is preferred. Insurance designation(s) (CPCU, AIC, ARM) preferred.

The U.S. pay range for this position is 92,500 – 182,000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience, and location.
