Overview
Collaborative Anesthesia Partners (CAP) is a progressive anesthesia group performing services in multiple care settings. Our team is seeking a highly autonomous, driven and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team and oversee all clinical practice settings and daily provider relations at our sites. Experience in successfully managing a multi-department schedule, competently and efficiently caring for both pediatric and adult patient populations in an acute environment, and effectively having developed recruitment and retention strategies for healthcare professionals will be necessary to ensure success in this position. Travel is necessary in this position.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for provider recruitment/staffing of CAP serviced locations. Developing, implementing and assessing recruitment efforts in a fast paced environment.
- Responsible for provider hiring with fiscal direction from VP Provider Services or designee as needed for 1099/W2 packages CAP can offer for each position.
- Oversee equipment/supply delivery necessary for anesthesia operations at dental sites
- Oversee scheduling of providers at each clinical site CAP provides services where there is a clinical designee responsible for creating and maintaining the schedule.
- Directly oversee and maintain staffing/schedules for locations where there is not a clinical designee responsible for creating and maintaining the schedule.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling anesthesia staff at contracted locations and registered nurse staff for clinical PACU needs.
- Schedule oneself to perform clinical duties as a PACU registered nurse as needed at our various locations.
- Supervise and manage clinical staff’s performance for job sites without a clinical lead.
- Supervise and work directly with Directors of Anesthesia at each applicable job site, identifying recruitment/staffing needs, facility needs, and any areas of concern in order to maintain satisfaction amongst both providers and facilities.
- Communicate directly with key clinical stakeholders at facilities without a Director of Anesthesia, identifying facility needs and any areas of concern in order to maintain satisfaction amongst both providers and facilities.
- Provide input in coordination of supply chain management with the CAP office. Assist in management of ordering and stocking of required medical supplies to ensure operational and compliance needs are met at job sites.
- Assist in ensuring efficient and effective provider and facility credentialing relations and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
Required:
- Successful completion of BSN nursing degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in nursing with leadership roles
- An active and unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in each state where clinical practice is required
- Current Unencumbered Driver’s License
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Moderate to advanced understanding of Administrative Operations
- Successful history of functioning in a leadership role; overseeing individuals
Preferred:
- Post-graduate education or certification with a focus in healthcare leadership
- Past experience in working within the surgical services clinical setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
