Position Description: The Department of Finance and Economics seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach in Social Work. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester based on student demand. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental need. Successful candidates may teach at the Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on departmental needs.
This posting is for the summer 2024, fall 2024, spring 2025, and summer 2024/2025 semesters. Please note that this posting does not convey that such a need currently exists. Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration if the need arises.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience is preferred.
