A leading construction company is searching for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in Miamisburg, OH! Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000 DOE
Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Review and analyze financial statements for the company and related entities
- Manage banking transactions and support treasury functions
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate and manage financial audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Lead the transition to manage a small team of accounting professionals, fostering professional growth and development
- Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with senior financial leadership
- Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting department to enhance efficiency
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting; finance degrees considered with relevant experience
- At least 10 years of experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a management role
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with GL management
- Strong leadership qualities, flexibility, and the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience with CMIC or other construction ERP systems is preferred
- CPA certification is preferred
- Public accounting experience, particularly with audit roles is preferred
