Job Summary
The Recovery Center USA, LLC is seeking an experienced financial professional to join our finance team as a Detail Oriented Accountant in our Lawrenceville, GA office. As part of our finance team, you will manage all company ledgers, reconcile bank statements, and credit card statements and accounts payable. Additionally, you will assist leadership with reporting and regulatory requirements. Our ideal candidate has several years of prior bookkeeping experience, expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks software, and experience preparing financial statements. You also need communication skills to explain financial concepts to other employees.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable
- Prepare deposits and reconcile company ledgers
- Perform account reconciliations
- Process and prepare intercompany journal entries
- Manage bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Perform month-end closings
- Track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
- Track charges and refunds
- Inform management of any deviations from budget
- Reconcile all revenues with the general ledger
- Collect and organize checks
- Use QuickBooks to reconcile account statements and other financial information
- Pay verified bills for accounts payable
- Compare bank statements with general ledger to corroborate finances
- Check balances against accounting receipt records
- Utilize software programs to substantiate financial reports and value depreciable assets
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Can run accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing software
- Possesses knowledge of basic procedures in bookkeeping and accounting
- Demonstrates ability to plan, organize, and multitask
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in listening to and following directions
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail
- Can adapt to changing job requirements
Requirements And Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (preferred)
- Prior experience with accounting or bookkeeping (required)
- Expert-level experience with QuickBooks online
- Superb attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Bookkeeping certification (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping software (preferred)
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
