Walkner Condon Financial Advisors is seeking a highly motivated Support Financial Advisor to join our internationally focused wealth management team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide exceptional service and support to our three U.S. expat focused financial advisors and their clients. The goal of this role is to develop from a support advisor into a future Lead Advisor who will oversee their own book of business and team of support staff. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in a relevant discipline along with an international background - living or studying outside of the United States, studying international business, or extensive travel internationally. Must be fluent in written and conversational English; additional spoken and written languages are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist financial advisors in preparing and reviewing financial plans and investment strategies.
- Help financial advisors to prepare for and assist during client meetings and presentations, including gathering account information, performance reporting, and other relevant data.
- Act as the liaison between financial advisors and their clients, providing prompt and courteous responses to all inquiries.
- Coordinate with advisors to ensure timely and accurate processing of client requests, including initial investments, rebalances, transfers, and account maintenance.
- Assist financial advisors with opening new client accounts, completing paperwork, and managing client account information.
- Continuously monitor and assess the needs of financial advisors and their clients on both an investment and planning level.
- Make recommendations for process improvements and enhancements to the client experience.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Industry experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide outstanding service to clients and financial advisors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Process oriented; strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office products and previous experience utilizing CRM software.
- Series 65 is not required but will be expected to be attained within the first 3 months of employment.
