The Business Analyst will have knowledge/expertise in system development life-cycles such as ASAP, AGILE, and Waterfall to assist the Financial Services Branch (FSB) with the Pension Solution (PS) and Business Direct Retrofit (BDR) projects and various support activities and ongoing improvements in preparation of an estimated October 2025 go-live. The contractor is expected to help manage and facilitate the current project efforts relating to testing, conversion, cutover, and end-user training.
The Objectives Of This Work Are As Follows:
- Assist the Financial Manager in various project management activities, which include, but are not limited to, drafting and analyzing change requests and managing defects and deliverables.
- Coordinate testing execution with FSB testers across all business units, on all phases of testing.
- Coordinate documentation/revision of all test cases.
- Coordinate test execution for all testing phases (e.g., SIT, Interface, Parallel, UAT).
- Establish timetables to ensure testing activities are performed timely.
- Ensure timely completion of FSB test cases.
- Represent FSB in testing meetings.
- Manage test case status updates.
- Support the Financial Manager during conversion/cutover activities.
- Act as FSB lead in the development and execution of the cutover plan.
- Act as FSB lead in the development and execution of the conversion plan.
- Monitor work plans and modify them when necessary.
- Coordinate activities between FSB, BDR, and PS team.
- Coordinate activities relating to testing and validating reports including, but not limited to, canned system-generated reports, customized Operational Reports, and Balancing at Conversion reports.
- Provide assistance to FSB end-users as needed, including contributing to the development and delivery of end-user training and post-go-live support.
The compensation for this position is $145,000 to $165,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. This position is eligible for a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, 7 paid holidays, and 13 days accrued PTO.
