STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss., January 26, 2023– Mississippi Enterprise for Technology (MSET) announced two changes to its Board of Directors, welcoming President and CEO of the Gulf Coast Business Council, Jamie Miller, and electing Todd Ladner, IT Manager for SaiTech at Stennis Space Center to serve as Chairman of the Board.
“The changes to our board of directors come at an important time for MSET and Stennis Space Center,” said Davis Pace, President and CEO of MSET. “As MSET continues to grow, it is vitalthat we install the right folks in the right places on our board. Jamie and Todd will strengthen our organization and help ensure its long-term stability.”

About Miller
Currently, Jamie Miller is President and CEO at Mississippi Gulf Coast Business Council. There, Miller promotes initiatives to attract new opportunities, industry, and necessary resources to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Jamie Miller has served as Chief Operations Officer for the Mississippi Development Authority. In this position, Miller oversaw government affairs and managed major programs including the Gulf Coast Restoration Fund and CARES Act. Miller coordinated the Office of Military Affairs and monitors all base realignment and closure activities. Additionally, in this role Miller was responsible for leading the division of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship and monitors compliance benchmarks for the agency’s strategic plan and performance budget.
Prior to joining MDA, Miller served as the executive director of the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources and Chief of Staff to Congressman Steven Palazzo.
Miller is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.
Todd Ladner
About Ladner
Gerald “Todd” Ladner began his professional career in 1991 as a computer programmer in theIndustrial Engineering department at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He continued his support of Ingalls in various capacities until 1997 when he was hired as a software developer supporting what is now known as the Information and Technical Services contract at Stennis Space Center. Todd migrated into roles as a system administrator and an IT security engineer, and in 2010 was promoted to a management position in the IT securitygroup. Todd’s accomplishments have been recognized by NASA and his employer, and hisresponsibilities on the ITS contract have continued to expand. Todd is currently the IT Applications and Technology Manager with oversight of application development, records and document management, and product and data lifecycle management.
Todd attended Louisiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis with an emphasis on Computer Science. He continued his education at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received his Master of Business Administration degree. In 2011 Todd earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium.
Originally from Gulfport, Mississippi, Todd currently lives in Biloxi, Mississippi with his wife, Kim Carroll Ladner, and their three daughters.
