Responsibilities and Duties
We are looking for a Manager Certified Public Accountant to perform various accounting assignments and professional services for our diverse group of clients. We are interested in experienced, capable, and hardworking individuals to provide our clients with the best solutions and service possible. This is a full-time role with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
- Requesting, preparing and reviewing various tax returns and forms
- Compilation and review of financial statements
- Inventory tracking
- Managing tax and/or review engagements
- Providing informed tax and financial advice to clients
- Mentoring and developing team members while managing projects and jobs
- Independent tax research
- Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients
- Handling confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
- Quickly adapt to changing situations
- Perform various other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- Licensed CPA
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience preparing tax returns, i.e., 1040’s, 1065’s, 1120S’s, 1120’s
- Proven experience providing oversight to multiple teams and engagements
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
- Excellent attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with data analytics
- Experience with CCH Pfx Engagement and Axcess Tax
- Experience with QuickBooks
Compensation
Dependent on work experience, nevertheless notably higher than national averages.
