Kilpatrick Townsend is seeking an Associate with at least 1 year of domestic and international tax experience to join our Tax and Corporate practice. The ideal candidate will contribute to and have expertise with, or interest in, a broad range of tax matters including cross-border tax planning strategies, taxable and tax-free mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions of domestic and foreign corporations, investment fund formation, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. The Associate will be part of a team of attorneys that counsel clients on federal, state, and local tax controversy matters. Qualified candidates will have an LL.M. degree in taxation and possess the ability to manage multiple projects in collaboration with attorneys across offices. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong research and writing skills, and excellent academic credentials are required. Expected salary range is $205,000 – $250,000 depending on experience.
